Speed Radar Cameras Now Active at Six Udupi Highway Spots

The Department of Road Transport and Highways in Udupi district has announced that speed radar cameras are now fully operational at six major highway points, including the NH 66 stretch near Kumbla and the coastal road near Kundapura.
Implementing the system on May 15, officials installed automated speed detection units that capture and log vehicles exceeding the speed limit. The cameras will feed data to traffic control centers, allowing prompt enforcement actions and real‑time monitoring.
