Temasek-backed Manipal Health Secures SEBI Approval for IPO, Targets July Listing

By ETF Desk

Temasek-backed Manipal Health has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to launch an initial public offering (IPO). The company plans to list its shares in the capital markets by July.

Founded in 2013, Manipal Health operates in the advanced diagnostic and hospital sector, delivering medical services across Karnataka, including Udupi. The firm’s IPO seeks to raise about ₹170 crore (≈$22 million) to fund infrastructure expansion and boost R&D investments in oncology and telemedicine.

The listing is expected to attract institutional and retail investors keen on the growing Indian healthcare market. With its roots in Udupi, the IPO could also stimulate local employment and reinforce the district’s emerging biotech ecosystem.
