Three drug peddlers nabbed with MDMA and hydro ganja in Udupi

Police in Udupi arrested three suspects on Thursday after a raid on a rented flat in the Maranahalli neighbourhood, seizing substantial amounts of MDMA and hydroponically grown ganja.
MDMA, a synthetic psychoactive drug known as ecstasy, and ganja, a form of marijuana cultivated using hydroponics, are increasingly used in the region. The operation, carried out by the district police under a joint task force, aimed to curb the rising trend of drug abuse among local youth.
