Two Students Arrested in Manipal Over Drug Peddling Scam

Police on Saturday detained two undergraduate students from Manipal University during a raid at a rented apartment in the city. According to officials, the men were possessing and distributing illegal drugs to nearby college campuses.
The arrest followed a week‑long investigation by the Karnataka State Police's narcotics division, which traced a supply chain of synthetic drugs allegedly imported from overseas. Authorities say the two students had been operating under the guise of a small business while selling the substances to peers for profit.
