Udupi Court Complex Secured After Email Bomb Threat

On Tuesday, police conducted a search of the Udupi Court Complex after receiving a bomb threat via email. The threat prompted an immediate lockdown of the courthouse and surrounding streets as authorities dispatched a bomb disposal squad and cybercrime investigators.
The cybercrime unit said the anonymous email warned of a bomb hidden in the court premises. Responding officers secured all entrances, checked all public areas, and evacuated non-essential staff while the Investigative Directorate conducted a forensic review of the email and digital evidence.
