Udupi Courts to Conduct Daily Security Checks After Hoax Threats

Udupi district courts have announced that from today they will conduct daily security checks on all court premises after receiving a series of hoax threats alleging potential attacks.

According to the court administration, the threats, which were mainly received through phone calls and anonymous emails, were later found to be false by the police and the cyber cell. In response, the Judicial Magistrate’s Office has tightened its protocols and will coordinate with the local police force and forensic technology units to ensure that any future threats are promptly verified before any action is taken.
