Udupi District Court Faces Third Hoax Bomb Threat Amid Ongoing Security Concerns

Earlier this morning, the Udupi district court received a hoax bomb threat over its public telephone line, the third in as many weeks. The call warned of an imminent explosion and forced the court’s security team to act quickly.

Similar bogus alerts were received in February and again last month, leading local police to tighten security protocols and conduct a thorough review of threat detection systems. The courts now employ additional screening and CCTV coverage at all entry points to deter any potential danger.
