Udupi District Holds Vision 20-30-35 Brainstorming to Drive Holistic Development

A gathering of Udupi district leaders, academicians and local stakeholders took place at the Udupi Town Hall on Wednesday to kickstart the Vision 20-30-35 initiative aimed at guiding the district’s development over the next few decades.

The session, organised by the district administration, covered a range of priority sectors such as renewable energy, digital connectivity, skill‑based education, healthcare and ecotourism, with participants proposing concrete projects such as solar farms, broadband rollout and a new green‑visitor centre in the coast hinterland.

The outcomes of the brainstorming will feed into a comprehensive district blueprint that will be presented to the Karnataka state government in the coming months.
