Udupi District Minister Reviews Emergency Health Services in Region

Udupi district minister, Shri B. R. R. B., visited 12 health facilities across the district on Monday, conducting a comprehensive assessment of their emergency care capacity. He inspected triage bays, crash‑camps, and ambulance dispatch units.

The visit followed growing concerns over delayed emergency responses in Udupi, with recent statistics indicating that over 200 patients experience critical delays each year. The minister emphasised the need for better staffing, updated equipment, and streamlined protocols.
