Udupi Hit by Heavy Rain and Winds, 15 Houses Damaged

Heavy rain and strong winds, part of a sudden weather event, struck Udupi district, damaging a total of 15 houses across several villages.

The storm followed the early monsoon season and saw wind speeds exceeding 70 km/h, causing roofs to dislodge, trees to fall, and water to seep into lower levels of affected homes.
