Udupi Homestay Raid Yields Ganja Seizure

Fifty officers from the Karnataka State Police’s drug enforcement unit entered a homestay in Udupi district on Thursday, seizing a significant quantity of ganja during a surprise raid.

The homestay had been suspected of serving as a storage site for illicit cannabis cultivated by local growers. Earlier this year, the district had seen a surge in raids on tourist accommodation for drug activities.
