Udupi Police Arrest Man Allegedly Selling Liquor Without License

Udupi police detained a local resident on Tuesday for allegedly selling liquor illegally, the department said.

The accused, who operated a shop near the main bus stand, was found in possession of unopened alcohol bottles and a ledger indicating sales outside licensed premises. Police said the arrest follows a confidential tip and is part of a wider crackdown on illegal liquor vendors in the district.
