Udupi Police Arrest Two Men Accused of Murder

In a decisive move, Udupi police on Sunday arrested two men who had been evading arrest for a murder case that shook the district over the past week.

The suspects, identified as 35‑year‑old Swamy N. and 29‑year‑old Ramesh K., were allegedly linked to the killing of a local shopkeeper in the earlier part of July. While the victims’ family had been in distress, the authorities traced them to a rented van in the outskirts of Udupi after a multi‑agency sweep.
