Udupi Police Crackdown: Three Women Among 15 Accused in Investment Fraud Case

Udupi police have filed a chargesheet naming 15 individuals, including three women, in connection with an alleged investment fraud scheme that has reportedly taken advantage of local investors.

According to the police statement, the accused were involved in a scheme that promised high returns on investments in a purported real‑estate venture. Investigations uncovered that the funds were siphoned into personal accounts, raising suspicions of a typical Ponzi setup.
