Udupi Police Deploy New NPR Cameras to Tackle Traffic Violations

In an effort to curb mounting traffic violations across the district, Udupi police have rolled out a new series of NPR cameras at key junctions and high‑traffic corridors.

The cameras, part of a recent technology upgrade by the Karnataka State Traffic Police, automatically record speeding, illegal parking and other infractions. Officers report that the system helps identify offenders in real time, issue electronic tickets, and deter future violations.
