Police in Udupi district have logged 193 reports on drug offences received through a QR‑code based reporting initiative, according to SP Hariram Shankar.

The system, launched by the state’s enforcement wing, allows citizens to scan a unique QR code and submit details of suspected drug activity anonymously, providing a quick and discreet way to alert authorities.
