Udupi Police Use LED Walls to Broadcast Real-Time Alerts

In a move to modernise communication, the Udupi police deployed high‑definition LED panels across the district’s busiest intersections and bus stops. The screens, capable of showing live feeds, text alerts and short videos, serve as a digital bulletin board for police announcements.

Previously, information was relayed via loudspeakers and roadside posters—a method that left gaps when people were not listening or the posters wore out. By contrast, the luminous panels are visible day and night, reach a broader audience and can be updated instantly.
