Udupi Rowdy Arrested After Threatening Police Constable

On Tuesday, local authorities in Udupi took a rowdy, known as ‘Sheeter’, into custody after he allegedly threatened a constable who was on duty at the 1st Police Station. According to a Udayavani report, the suspect shouted hostile remarks while holding a weapon and urged the officer to leave the area immediately.
The police further stated that the arrested individual has a history of minor offenses and was previously involved in a reported rowdy incident at the nearby market square. Officers were quick to intervene when the confrontation escalated, preventing any physical harm to the constable or other officers.
