Udupi SP Records 193 QR Code Reports on Drug Abuse

Police in Udupi have logged 193 reports of drug abuse after residents submitted information through QR codes set up across the district.

Superintendent of Police, S. N. Yediyurappa, revealed that the QR code initiative, launched to encourage community participation, has already yielded a substantial influx of data on illegal drug activities, including the trafficking of cocaine, heroin and synthetic stimulants.
