Udupi ZP CEO urges banks to boost MSME lending

The Udupi District Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has publicly urged banks to step up lending to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the district.

MSMEs are a vital part of Udupi’s economy but many struggle to secure adequate credit, limiting their growth potential. The call comes as local businesses highlight the need for better access to financing to expand operations, hire more staff and invest in new technologies.
