Water Leak Hampers Udupi Service Bus Stand; Minister Inspects

A sudden and continuous water leakage from the roof of the Udupi service bus stand has caused significant inconvenience to daily commuters, with many having to wait in the open while repairs are arranged.

The bus stand, located near the central bus terminal in Udupi town, is a key hub for local and regional bus services. The leak, first reported early this morning, appeared to stem from a damaged section of the flat roof that has not been inspected for several months.

Transport Minister Prasad Raj Kanchan inspected the scene and assured commuters that the department would restore the structure within 48 hours, removing the leak and improving drainage to prevent future incidents.
